WEST KENT’S LODGE OF MUSICAL INTEREST

Who we are?

We are a mature lodge comprised of many ex “tradesmen” such as carpenters, electricians, decorators, teachers, policemen and firemen. Our age range is from 20 to the mid eighties so we are more than willing to welcome some new/younger blood to bring us some inspiration for the future of the lodge.

We meet five times a year on Fridays in March, May, June, October and December commencing at around 10:00am and including a two to three course meal, all for a very reasonable annual fee.

We aim to have a relaxed and enjoyable time at our meetings. Our social activities consist of a “Ladies Night” annually, Sunday Family Lunches including wives, families and our Widows, Summer Barbeques and the odd themed Quiz Night.

We hope you may be interested in our lodge.

Please remember - you don’t have to join alone. If you have a friend who is also interested, we are quite willing to take you both.

Our Values

Championing local communities, uplifting charities, backing worthy causes—and enjoying every moment along the way—Freemasonry blends purpose with camaraderie to create meaningful impact and memorable experiences.

Freemason | Integrity

Unlike the stonemasons of the past who shaped cathedrals from stone, modern Freemasons are dedicated to shaping character and cultivating integrity within themselves. The fraternity offers a timeless framework that guides members on their journey of personal growth and moral development.

Freemason | Friendship

As one of the world’s most enduring social fraternities, Freemasonry stands apart not by promoting an ideology, but by welcoming individuals of all faiths and political views. It offers a shared foundation where lasting friendships are formed—bonds that often endure a lifetime.

Freemason | Respect

Bringing together over 200,000 members from every corner of the UK, Freemasonry unites individuals across lines of race, religion, and background—fostering connection and understanding where society too often finds division.

Freemason | Charity

Whether it’s organising events, supporting charitable initiatives, or volunteering within their communities, Freemasons place service at the core of their values. Members contribute meaningfully by offering their time, talents, and resources to make a lasting difference.
